Mildred Mae Millikin

	Mildred Mae Millikin, age 93, of Pinckneyville, passed away Wednesday morning, October 1, 2003 in the Pinckneyville Community Hospital.
	Mae was born June 13, 1910 in Rice, Ill., the daughter of Leonard V. and Pearl Leola (Keller) Dempsey.  Mae was united in marriage to Robert Cecil Millikin on November 24, 1928 in Rice and he preceded her in death on November 19, 1965.  Mae was a lifelong resident of the Pinckneyville area, a member of the First Baptist Church of Pinckneyville, worked in the nursery of the Beaucoup Baptist Church, enjoyed sewing and crocheting and was employed by the Pinckneyville Community Hospital in the dietary department for several years.
	Mae is survived by three daughters, Mary Ruth Stewart and husband Bill, Marilyn Sue Millikin and Carol Jean Kopshever, all of Pinckneyville; one sister, Irene Fontana, also of Pinckneyville; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
	Mae was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two sons, Paul R. and Kenneth J. Millikin; two daughters, Shirley Anne Millikin and Roberta Mae Dinkela; one brother, Enloe Dempsey; one sister, Georgia Ellice Dempsey; one grandson, Kenneth Craig Millikin and one great-grandchild.
	Funeral services were held Saturday, October 4, 2003 at 10 a.m. in the First Baptist Church of Pinckneyville with Reverend Clyde Dempsay officiating.  Interment was in the Concord Cemetery, Rice.
	Friends called at the Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home in Pinckneyville on Friday evening from 5 to 9 p.m. then at the church on Saturday morning from 8 a.m. until services.
